Every year on 1st March the local children chase away the winter.
In Müstair, this celebration of Chalandamarz can be regarded as something of a tradition and not merely downgraded as pure folklore. It's something the children organise themselves and they really enjoy it. It engenders an increased sense of belonging every year - not just among the children and parents but also among the visitors.

-Visit to the weaving mill in Sta Maria
